Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions from our travellers
What is the best time to visit Andaman?
October to May is the best time to visit Andaman. The weather is pleasant, the sea is calm, and visibility for water activities like scuba diving and snorkeling is excellent. Peak season is November to February. June to September is the monsoon season — some activities may be restricted but rates are significantly lower.
Do we need a permit to visit Andaman?
Indian nationals do not need a permit for Port Blair, Havelock, Neil, Baratang, and most tourist areas. However, a Restricted Area Permit (RAP) is required for North Andaman (Diglipur), Little Andaman, and the Nicobar group of islands. We assist with all permit formalities at no extra charge.
How do I get from Port Blair to Havelock Island?
You can travel from Port Blair to Havelock Island by government ferry (2.5 hrs, ₹450 onwards) or private cruise like MV Makruzz or Nautika (1.5 hrs, ₹1,200 onwards). We book all types of ferry tickets for our clients and ensure confirmed seats, especially during peak season when tickets sell out fast.
Can I book just one service — like airport pickup — without a full package?
Absolutely! You can book any individual service with us — airport transfers, ferry tickets, a single day of cab service, one water activity, or just hotel booking. There is no obligation to book a full package. We are happy to assist with any requirement, big or small.
How far in advance should I book?
For peak season travel (November to February), we recommend booking at least 2–3 months in advance, especially for Havelock hotel stays and ferry tickets. For off-season travel, 3–4 weeks in advance is usually sufficient. However, we can also assist with last-minute bookings — just contact us and we will do our best.
Is Andaman safe for solo female travellers?
Yes! Andaman is one of the safest tourist destinations in India for solo female travellers. The local population is welcoming, the islands are well-policed, and crime rates are very low. We have escorted hundreds of solo female travellers through the islands safely. Our team is always reachable and can assist in any situation.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Our cancellation policy varies by service. For full packages: cancellation more than 30 days before travel — 90% refund; 15–30 days — 50% refund; less than 15 days — no refund. For individual services and activity bookings, the refund depends on the specific vendor. We will share a detailed policy at the time of booking.
Do you offer budget packages under ₹10,000 per person?
Yes! Our 3N/4D budget package starts from ₹9,999 per person on twin sharing basis. This includes accommodation in comfortable budget hotels, government ferry tickets, airport transfers, and key sightseeing. Contact us and we will design the most affordable Andaman trip possible within your budget.
